Fitment question

Just ordered a set of 20x8.5 +40 squared. Have a 2014 328 xdrive. Will these fit OK w/o spacers? Planning on 235/35 or 255/30 tires.
Any help from fitment gurus be be greatly appreciated.

Both tire sizes will fit without spacers. You may determine spacer size afterwards if you want the tires more flush.

Rear will fit for sure. Front with 235 will fit for sure. I've seen 8.5 +38 with 255 fit and I'm pretty sure +40 fits without spacer, since it's just 2mm more tucked however I'm not 100% certain and it also depends on how broad the shoulders of tire is, since theyre not all created equal. Their is a slight possibility you'll 3-5mm spacer to clear the spring perch or strut.

In the future it'd be better to ask fitment questions prior to ordering.

EDIT, here is 18x9 +42 with 255/40/18. one guy rubbed with michelin as3+ but another was fine. https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...40%2F18+square

Well I did some research, knew the wheels weren't a crazy offset or anything... I figured I may need a small spacer up front. I have a 10 and 15 right now on the stock wheels.
