Yes, sorry used the BMW 'lingo', sadly it didn't mean anything flash. Ordered my car last week and have been advised it will be available end of march.
Spec as follows - 320d M-Sport Saloon Sports Auto Mineral Grey with Red leather Brushed Aluminium interior trim 19's Sun Protection Glass Pro Media Package Visibility pack Debadge Heated seats Split rear seats Think that's about it? Looking forward to it, having had a weekend test drive a few weeks back in the snow, so roll on delivery day! |

Nice. I wanted to go with the brushed aluminium but the EB trim was only available with the hexagonal trim
So I make that 3 M Sports due end of march for those of us on this forum...

Hi everyone, another newbie here. Yesterday I ordered the following
320D M Sport Touring Estoril blue Black dakota leather Professional Multimedia 19"M Star-spoke style 403 Sport auto Sun Protection glass Electric folding mirrors Heated front seats EB interior finisher Front & Rear PDC Ordered yesterday as factory build starts Monday and should be delivered 0n 12 March 2013. I have part exchanged an F61 520D M Sport Touring which I bought new in Dec 2010. I test drove a 330D Touring too and whilst it was monstrously quick the times I could use the power were limited in every day use and also I felt paying over £45k was too much for a 3 Series ! Now thinking what other options I should have gone for..... |

Today I upgraded the spec again slightly by adding the visibility pack which includes xenons, headlight washer, high beam assist and adaptive headlights.
That's it definitely ! |

That's the main thing I regret not speccing on mine - have seen ones with and without Xenons and the standard set-up just doesn't compete, both aesthetically and also visibility.
Three weeks and four days for mine - but who's counting.... |

The lack of Xenons on my car spec is my only disappointment but an upgraded stereo and lumbar support are a must driving anything up to 1k miles a week.

....and not forgetting mine comes with the DAB radio as standard.
I was offered a choice of built cars from stock with BMW however none of them had the DAB radio option and the specs were not exactly what I would have chosen. I was planning to have the car delivered this month but when the dealer offered a factory build, spec to choice 2013 car with DAB and mid March delivery it was an easy decision to make. |

Still waiting on a date. Chasing them up at the moment, but not holding my breath as the leasing company through work are rubbish... Took em 6 weeks to actually place the order, but they assured me on the Jan 14th that they placed the order. May have had something to do with me refusing to get off the phone, till they confirmed they were placing the order.... lol

If you live in a big city (London for example) and only drive 2 miles in any direction....and only listen to one main station.....then DAB is no advantage. If you, like me, drive all other the place, like a bigger choice of stations, then DAB is a godsend.......I'd pay £600 for it Some will make you believe that DAB sound is squashed, but I have not found this. If you think ANY radio broadcasts in full high fi sound then you need to go to specsavers and have a hearing test. |
