Replacing Shockbreaker
Hi
My F30 335i stock sedan suspension are giving up soon. I was wondering my sedan can fit the Genuine BMW Retrofit Kit Sports Suspensi - 33502320981 for F30 335i. Can the stock springs be use together with this kit since it does not come with spring? Must I recode the car? Thanks. |

1) Do you have ECS? This kit does not retain ECS - it is standard hydraulic dampers. So you would need a ECS delete kit and code it out I think.
2) these dampers will over damp the stock springs, even the m-sport, producing a harsh ride. You can buy the kit and springs together. Best place seems to be getbmwparts.com 3) If your car is not an M-Sport, the kit recommends sway bars also (same bars as M-Sport). If you’re not trying to improve performance, and just need new struts, look into the bilstein b4 or b6. I would probably say b4 for non-m sport, and b6 for m-sport. |

Mine is M-Adaptive suspension with sensors cables.
I need to replace more than the shock absorber. According to dealer diagnose, Spring strut, Guide support, spring pad, damper all need to replace. That's why looking at the kit. |
