Yep. Same as the M Sport seats in the F30/F31 etc.

It won't because F30/F31 seatbelts mount to the seats, but the F22, F32, F87, F82 models, being coupes, have their seatbelts mounted to the floor.

I tried putting in M4 seats in my F30 and it required swapping over the bases of my stock seats to the M4 seat, which was not easy.

The m4 seats actually have a bolt in the same place as the f30/f80 seat. If you remove the bolt you'll notice the constructions the same - I was able to mount f82 seats in my f30.

No codes or functional issues whatsoever.

The seat harness functions the same so in theory these M2 seats could work if they have the same mounting point.

When I originally bought the M4 seats and took a look at the mount point it was just blank without any bolts or anything.. could be because of build date? Or maybe previous owner took it out? I'm not sure. But in my case I had to swap the bases out.

Yes, the harnesses, electricals all work all fine. Just the mechanical part didn't work in my case.
