Konig Ultraforms - 38mm offset a problem?

Hi all - I've been on the hunt to replace the OEM wheels on my 2013 335i M-Sport (F30). I think I've fallen in love with the Konig Ultraforms, but have a fitment concern.

My current setup is 18x8.5 ET35 all around with 245/40ZR18 tires (pictured below). Geometrically, I dont' want to make any drastic changes... just looks.

These Konigs are 18x8.5 ET38. If I made that 3mm change, should I run into any clearance issues? Should I expect to need to run spacers or longer bolts?
https://konigwheels.com/wheels/flow-...els/ultraform/

Or should I just not do it for reasons you'll kindly explain?

Thanks!

Ben

It's a simple check, do you currently have more than 3mm clearance between the rim and front suspension?

Thanks. So you've run this geometry and had no problems?

Yeah I get that. Stick my fingers back there and see what I feel. I'm a bit of a wheels rookie and am concerned about stupid rookie oversights. If I just check the clearance while static, does that mean I'm not considering things while driving, turning, etc. That's why I ask.

I just did some work on the front suspension and there plenty room for et38 but that's if your stock suspension.

If your worried 3mm spacer up front is fine with stock bolts. Assuming the wheel material is not thick.

I'm on the M-Sport suspension. Here's what my VIN tells me...

Editions And Packages
S715 M Aerodynamics Package
S337 M Sports Package
S704 M Sports Suspension
S710 M Leather Steering Wheel

I'm also seeing that I may have been incorrect on one thing in my original post... The Style 416 wheels appear to be 8" width. Not 8.5".

Your wheel 416 also probably have an et34.

I'm basing my answer on what I have on my car. I have 19x8.5 et35 which I still have a finger gap between the suspension and the tire, that et38 will fit... but the wheel will sink further inward from being flush to the fender.

Running a spacer will move the wheel out for a more flush look.

Update: I bit on the Konigs. Mounted yesterday. I need to clean up the car and take some proper glam shots, but I think it looks pretty good!

Details:
Konig Ultraform
18x8.5 ET38 (Square)
Michelin 456/40ZR18 all around

Things I've discovered about my new project car/daily driver now that I've seen inside the wheel wells...

I need to clean up the fender wells, replace/upgrade some suspension stuff, do pads and rotors, and paint those calipers.

Thanks for all the advice and help, folks.
