F30 suspension binding noise
i have Air Lift suspension on my F30.
The front end is making binding noise whenever i turn the steering. Would it be possible that the noise is coming from the shock top hat due to tightening that nut too tight? Over time, those nuts get loosened and start to make noise when driving straight over bumpy road. Not binding noise here. How do i get rid of these two noises at the same time?

Need help. It doesnt seem to make the binding noise while driving and turning.
Noise is always there when driving and turning slowly in parking lot. Even at little turning

It sounds like you have a bad strut bearing, or the bag is rubbing on the wheel liner when deflated.
Does the noise occur when the car is lowered? Raised? Warm? Cold? Raise the car and look at the wheel well for any obvious indications of rubbing. Did you do the install or have a shop do it? If a shop did it, take the car back to them, and have them check it out. |
