Help!!! damage my strut on the highway need advice
I have a 2014 BMW 435i with adaptive m suspension Lowered on H&R sports springs I hit a bump on the highway pause the passenger side strut to bend.I need help trying to figure out if I should let my insurance company take care of it or I should just do it out of pocket been that the car is lowered. And I'm also looking for reparable shop where I could get my car repaired in New York.I'm new to the BMW seen I would appreciate your help

I think you might have to pay for this one yourself. Unfortunately, lowering springs combined with shocks not designed for these springs means the risk of the same problem occurring is still present. Adaptive suspension is great but repair costs are much higher. Coilovers with a EDC cancellation kit (to negate the adaptive suspension control unit) is another option if you are facing $2K+ repair invoice.

I'd put the stock springs back on then call insurance. Oh and delete this post
