Try this thread https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...t=ugode+screen These are from different suppliers. I think around £400 mark delivered may even be cheaper when you haggle with them by email. |

Most of the units are built the same from the same factories with different branding, some firmware differences and after sales service.
I have read all the different forums about all the different makes and they all seem to have the same issues. I bought the Avin one from a UK supplier for £570, I had a few issues which they helped resolve generally within in a n hour. I still have one issue in that iDrive screen doesn't quite fill the screen properly, I lose about 5mm from the bottom which means the last option in some Idrive menus are cut off slightly. I think this is because I have a 2013 nbt champ2 unit with factory nav and dab, but I don't have the option to code the screen resolution in the head unit. |

I bought one last year 2nd generation for £400 with export postage plus extras I required for my needs worked very well and mimicked the latest (at the time) Idrive 6 interface.

So 8.1 versions are on the horizon afaik if you wait - whether they are going to come with uprated CPU/Memory to cope is the question

Hi,
If you're interested, I'm about to sell the AvinUSA unit which I've just removed from my 2015 F31 (handing the car back soon). Works great for Waze and Google Maps. Would come boxed with extra screen protector and GPS splitter. Let me know if you're interested. Pete |
