Mike, how come when you go to the AWE site and filter on exhaust for the 428 there is no quad option?

http://www.awe-tuning.com/awe-bmw-f32-428-exhaust

But if I go the 328 page I see it?

We have no quad option available at this time.

We do not offer any downpipes for our BMW applications, but fitment of our exhaust with any aftermarket downpipe should not be an issue!

Our Performance Mid-Pipe is designed to work with AWE exhaust, we do not have any confirmed fitment with other exhausts.

does it fit for N26?????

i am having trouble finding a mid pipe for N26, since N26 uses a different OEM downpipe then N20. so the end that connect to the downpipe is different

We have exhaust systems for both N20 and N26 motors. Our midpipe is for use with our systems only, however.

We’ve unlocked more aggressive styling by confirming fitment of our quad outlet exhaust and Quad Outlet Marking Templates for both the M and Non-M-Sport F3x 328i and 428i.

The 3D printed template bolts right onto the car in the perfect position, making it easy to accurately mark your bumper for cutting. They’re easy, accurate and available now.

Quad Outlet Exhaust and result of the bumper cut as shown on the AWE Tuning Non-M Sport 328i, and our development M-Sport 428i as well.

Already have a single side exhaust and want to go quad? Contact us here.

Availability

The templates are available now, either online on our website under the 328i or 428i sections, or through AWE Tuning’s global network of superstar dealers and installation centers, right here (put in your zip, find your local AWE Tuning dealer).

Questions? AWE Tuning BMW Performance Specialists await! 888.565.2257, or performance@AWE-Tuning.com.

Is there any difference in sound when comparing between the single sided and quad options? I prefer the sound of a lower tone (bassy) exhaust, it's hard to tell between the videos.

Also, any plans on a mid-pipe for an F36? (Manual Transmission)

There is minimal difference in tone. We only offer the mid-pipe in conjunction with our exhaust.

I should have been a more clear; will there be a mid-pipe available for 428i Gran Coupe anytime soon or is the 428i Coupe mid-pipe compatible with the Gran Coupe? I think the exhaust is the same as a 428i Coupe.

We do not have any confirmed mid-pipe fitment with Gran Coupes.

The AWE Tuning Quad Tip Touring Edition Exhaust and Resonated Performance Mid Pipe gives the N20/N26's soundtrack an ample dose of sophisticated, drone-free aggression and a head-turning rear end, making it the ultimate compliment to the 328i and 428i.

Can you please find out whether there were any installation issues that they needed to deal with or was is a simple R and R process with the exception of cutting of exhaust outlet?

Everything matches across the board in this particular area for the F3Xs. Should be seamless for whoever does the install, even the bumper cutout. Be sure to get the template!

Thanks....now gotta figure out a way to get it to Hawaii. Got a quote on shipping and it cost more to ship it here than a round trip ticket to Vegas!!

BTW: Has anyone installed the AWE intake in addition to the exhuast?
