The way mine was done there is slightly more vibration felt on start up, as it doesn't use the existing rubber thingy to attach like the standard one does. However, I coded ASS off so it wasn't something that bothered.

I've now sold that car, but I absolutely wouldn't do anything differently to what I did.

great thread. this has actually inspired me to get the f32 done - booked in next week ! for me, the back end has always been the visual weak point and is badly in need of the twin pipe look of the 40i
