I registered for the Friday AM session. It looks like Wednesday and Thursday morning sessions still have plenty of spots left. I am not sure what to expect since I have never been to NHMS nor tracked a car before, but sure looking forward to the experience.

I'll be there tomorrow morning as well. I'll be pulling up in a white 340 w/ black roof.

Great Event
I attended this morning and it was just an awesome event
They broke us up into two groups...one group went over to a large parking lot in which we drove X3 M40's in a slalom course and everyone was timed. The best part was the opportunity to drive with professional driver and really see the limit of the X3. Midway through the session we swapped places and we drove on the track. Everyone was able to ride twice, taking two laps through the course by following a professional driver while providing instructions over the radio. The first time I drove the M550 and the second time was in the 440. At the end of the event we all were able to drive with a professional driver around the course, wow they knew how to drive those cars to the limit!! Thank BMW for putting on this event. |

I second the thanks to BMW for the awesome event! I would have loved one more crack at the autox course, but with the amount of people plus one x3 out of service I understand. Had a great time on the road course. I don't know if anyone else noticed, there was a 440 with the track handling package mixed in among all the 440s (it had gray wheels and Pilot Super Sports on it). This was probably my favorite car of the day. All in all, what a really fun way to spend an afternoon.
