440 MPPK >5ish-6k Miles More Turbo Woosh?

This is more of a curious question than anything else, I noticed after I hit about about 5k or 6k ish miles on my MPPK-equipped 440, I started hearing more of the breathing and "wooshing" when I accelerate in sport mode. This was after already having driven the car mostly on sport for more than a year. Any other owners noticed this? Makes me wonder if there's a difference in power or turbo lag, too (empirically, not that I can notice)

How exactly you remember that sound it made 5-6k miles ago? Human memory, especially at that long stretch, is quite unreliable. Probably it was you only started to notice the woosh sound by now.

I don't have MPPSK and I noticed the same thing. I wasn't sure if it was just because I drive with the windows open more often, or in combination with my muffler delete. I'm almost at 5k but noticed when I hit about 3.5-4k. Flooring it I can hear the howl of the intake and my car is stock intake/stock tune. I actually don't enjoy it lol, but it's all good. I really just want to hear the exhaust.

Because there was a noticeable switchover after hitting that mark, it wasn't like it slowly changed over time. My autocross co-driver commented on it independently of what I thought, too.

I can still remember the sound of my first Porsche from years ago. Every once in a while if an older 78 79 911 goes by I can hear that same low spin...I think a lot of people can remember what their car's sounded like...even the interior smells...

I think what they're trying to say is greaterintake noise is not a feature of the MPPK.
