White scratches over paint on side of car

Hi guys, I have a liquid blue F30 and it has some marks on the side that look like scratches. Does anyone know if these come out if I buff them out or with some kind of polish. Thanks

Can you feel the scratches/chips with your fingernail? If so, you are going to have to polish off some paint layer to improve the appearance.

Well...if you can feel them with your fingernail then they are below you paint. If you cannot feel them you can use a DA polisher and some polish and they will come out. From the pic it looks like they would come out, but the feel test will reveal how deep they are.

I can't really feel the scratches so it looks like it's minor, it's hard to see them but they're in a pretty large area. I think that the polisher should work though, thanks for the response

It kind of looks like someone scrubbed some tar or other residue off. Some people don't realize just how delicate a clear coat is.
