Good afternoon. I have ordered your VTT GS turbine. The configuration on the M140IX will be: VTT GC.
Dorch Stage 1 HPFP. CSF Intercooler Radiator, Full Catalytic Exhaust, Cold Inlet. Will I be able to get 500hp from the wheel at 20psi using 98 Ron fuel? With appropriate engine settings.

The turbos can flow enough to make your power goals no problem. We made a little more power with a little more boost on our 93. Check out our official release/93 thread:

What are the limits in RWHP for the dorch stage 1?

I don't think VTT tested the Dorch Stage 1, but Peter @ Pure Turbo's tested their Pure 800 and was able to get 580whp on 93 octane using the Supra (B58TU) Pump. The Dorch Stage 1 flows more than the TU pump so probably right around 600whp if I had to guess.

Or is this really only worth it with e30+?

You can get 500-525whp on 93 with this, so 80-100whp over maxed stock on 93.

How crucial is the HPFP upgrade if you have no plans for running ethanol?
I'm on my 3rd BMW and have never done a turbo upgrade. Always Wanted to
