Truth be told...those of us with an e90 will dislike things about the new car to justify why what we have is "better". That will soon fade away as BMW know what they are doing and will for sure outshine the predecessor for 99% of the population. You all know it. At least those woh owned multiple generations of BMWs will understand in a painful way.

I love my E90 M3. But I know anything coming will be better. So I hope I can keep my E90 and get the next version

I agree. I'm thinking at least it's better than the treatment on the new 1 series nose.

I don't like the interior with the way the dash cuts off half of the trim, I think it looks stupid, like they're trying to hard. I don't like the hood period, doesn't matter if the hood line was there or not, something just looks out of proportion to me. I like everything else though (hit or miss with the nav screen though). I will however give this thing the benefit of the doubt and reserve my final decision until I see it in person. Overall though, I'm happy I got the E90 as opposed to this.

That being said though, I really disliked the way the E90 looked until the LCI came out. So who knows? I really want to see what the coupe looks like though! an M4 would make a great addition to my E90 in 4 years

The m-sport has grown on me but not the regular sport line. The front is still too ugly.

Love all the initial reactions. It'll grow on you and you'll probably end up with one. Just saying.

I was hoping for the interior to look a lot more like a baby 5er and add "3er" options (especially the instrument cluster, I was REALLY hoping it would follow the 5, 6 and 7) but it looks like something you would find in a Japanese car. The exterior is bang on though, no problems there.

Love the front end, but not a fan of the rear. Looks exactly like the 5-series style wise and size wise. But the car is lighter, and that's all that matters.

Don't own a E90. The steering wheel and colored dash trim still looks VW cheap.

we dont need no stinkin badges!! lol anyways overall the car looks great and its progressive. any change can be tough im sure but once the change scare wears off i think this will be a huge hit. out of the three i like the sport line the best naturally, it has the best rims by far.

That's going to be an LCI thing for sure. They did the exact same thing on the E46 and E90.

I hear you but this isn't a case of rejecting change...at least not on my part...the headlight grill connection is hideous and the smash face is a no go..NOW THE M-SPORT IS NICE...it's too bad we have to wait two years to even see the coupe version....

Amen to that - looks like somebody took a Skill saw and made the hood so it could be openned. Engineering must have discovered some owner servicable item under the hood they were not able to eliminate and had to make the hood openable with a last minute design change....

Other than that and the tablet PC that slipped into gap in the dash above the center stack it looks nice.

I like the sport the best - looks good in red. Front is aggressive and fairly clean (save the hood gap..) - just a little iffy on the gap between the kidneys and the lights; may have to see that in person. Rear is OK looking and will keep those selling painted reflectors in business for years to come.

overall I would give it a 7.5 out of 10 for style...

Haha, you know, there is some truth to that. Begrudgingly I have to admit, as a recent purchaser of an e90 m3 who tried to really not like the new f30, overall I really like what I see with the M-Sport, my quibbles with the design are minor and have already been mentioned (dash line, gap between the lights and the grill, the location of the idrive screen, I really dislike the random reflectors on the lower rear bumper). But I am digging the direction that they took the design and I think it will make me think about getting in a new m3 in 3ish years, as long as the performance and the reliability of BMWs new turbocharged engines hold-up.
