Coding Leeds West Yorkshire area
Just a heads up. I found this guy on facebook a few weeks ago
He used Carly and did the following on my car: -Start/stop memory function (stays off until turned on again) -Digital speedo on dash -Door Handles light up in reverse -Seat belt warning/chimes disabled -Window continuation when door opened or ignition off -Interior lighting brightness adjusted -M sport boot up picture -BHP and Torque Display -Tyre Temps Great guy with real love and passion for BMW's. Also a very good price As well as the coding he showed me a few features of iDrive I wasn't aware of

I wasn't sure this post was allowed as its a personal recommendation
He is using Carly for now, but looking to go down the E-sys route once he's learnt it properly

Carly is a simple App that already has the coding built in, you just tick boxes. Esys is a lot more involved and you can do a lot more.

I am not sure if you can do retro fitting with Carly
You'd need to check the Carly website it tells you everything it can do

Morning all, new to the forum game. Saw this thread so thought i’d join. I’ve got a Vgate and the Bimmercode app too, really quick and straightforward to use. I’ve added quite a few really useful and cool features to my F32. Also happy to help anyone out that wants some coding doing for a couple of beer tokens

-Start/stop memory function (stays off until turned on again)
-Door Handles light up in reverse -Seat belt warning/chimes disabled -Window continuation when door opened or ignition off -Interior lighting brightness adjusted / decoupled from dash brightness -M sport boot up picture -Tyre Temps -DRL rear outer on -All warning noises set to RR Gonna do the tailgate open/close from front drivers switch but Bimmercode has a "known issue" with the tailgate module that will be sorted in the next release. I've also made it harder for some scrote to plug something into the OBD by putting a cable tie around it. You have to cut the tie off to be able to plug in.... not high tech but from what I've seen on youtube the preferred method is to smash the window, reach down, plug tool in and disable alarm and deadlocks. My way they're gonna have to climb in the window, figure out why they can't plug the tool in then cut the tie off. Black cable tie on a black plug in a black compartment in a dark footwell, hopefully it'll be enough of a pain with the alarm going off that they'll walk away. Assuming I don't catch them in the act, they'll be lucky to ever walk again if I do
