So i did a bit of research into paint protections available in brisbane and went with CQ Quartz. Ben from Reflections Detailing Studio did a brilliant job on the car. With myself working away he came picked up and dropped off my car and was very easy to deal with. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanted paint protection.

Installed BM3 stage 2 93 last night as well as a AFE here go flow drop in filter.
AWE axleback also arrived last week. Don't know whether to order extra tips and make it a quad exhaust or keep it a twin. Either way can't wait to install it

Welcome buddy to the community.
Stunning colour and that coat is sublime (did Mr Miyagi do a wax on wax off job? ) Looking forward to seeing your build thread progress and don't forget to continue posting up pics and updates for all. Sharing your build thread will help others on their own and give everyone ideas. I know there are now a fair few F30 guys moving on (mostly f80 platforms) and its a great time to pick up the used ones for a good price and there will be plenty of others who will start buying f30s as well. |

Thanks for that, He did a great job at refelctions detailing studio brisbane and even offers a free next wash to show you his preferred way of washing which i thought was a nice touch.
I work out on the rigs so have to develope some patience between mods haha. But in 3 weeks when im back the AWE exhaust will be installed as well as some Koya SF10 wheels so should hopefully have some nice photos soon. For now the BM3 flash makes the car pull a lot harder and i had no issues flashing it myself in 15 minutes. Tyres lose a bit of traction when the boost kicks in but the new wider tyres should fix that.

Very happy that you got the BM3 flash tune mate (especially the stage 2 with upgraded DP), as it is now on par with F80 power. Wish it was available back then when I first got the car as it is way cheaper than what I paid for Bench flash , however that's the Modders life, No money no honey!!!
U will definitely get more traction with grippier tyres (I got rid of my stock Bridgestone runflats within a week of getting the car) but also think about some suspension work as well because the new wheels would look nicer with it. As for exhaust, u will love the Upgrade (especially in Sports mode and Sports gearing). I was really looking into the AWE back then as well, however couldn't get any shipped to Australia (mod bargains don't ship outside USA) so ended up getting SuperSprint. The Dual vs Quad tip is subjective (some M drivers think that it is sacrilegious to put quad tips on non M cars as it is a sacred gift from theGods handed down to only the worthy) so it is up to you. I've got the fatter 4inch Dual tips and others on here have that on their cars eg. x328x and the former knightsabers and others have the Carbon M performance dual exhaust who looks really nice, while others like tigerr8 have quads which again looks really nice. Check out their build thread and pics to get an idea of what u like. |

I plan on getting H & R sports springs once i get the new wheels. I realy like how tigerr8 can sits with the 20's so i plan on doing something very similar.
I ended up going directly through scuderia and got a price cheaper then any US dealer by the time they added shipping. I am going to install the dual and see how i like it. If i like it then ill most likely but another diffuser for dual and sell my quad one. It will work out cost wise similar then trying to mod quad tips around the battery box. I was going to go with remus hence the diffuser but then preferred awe's sound. I do like how tigerr8's quad looks though so that might change.

Agree with other posts: Beautiful Colour (I am biased) and looks great with that finish. I may have to do the same!

Had to edit the photo a bit since it was dark but I added some side skirt extensions and a gloss black high kick spoiler to add some more black touches. Also put the bmw centre caps in the wheels.

I feel the ride is smoother, not sure if that's because I went from RFT to Non RFT. A lot of people kept saying 20's were to big on the F30 but after seeing them in person I'm definitely glad I went with 20's.
