Holy shit...my thoughts exactly. Lol What a bad example. Personally the F30 still hasn't grown on me (which speaks volumes). I would still take an E46 M3 over almost any modern BMW... especially over an F30. The E46 body is timeless...dated, but timeless... |

A better comparison would be between the E39 and F30. They're almost the same size. I'm kinda surprised this made the front page.

Nice & clean e46.
E46 is the last generation of classical BMW 3 series. From E90 onwards to the current gen of F30, they all look great but no longer carry the tradition of BMW classic looks. F30 looks avant-garde but its good look feeling may not last as long as the preceding generations. Last edited by Ivan Ho; 04-11-2013 at 05:40 PM.. |

You want the slammed, stanced and cambered look on your car? Cool, good to go! Looks great as a static display, no arguments there. Just be careful getting over those speed bumps as you leave the show...

[QUOTE=E39hijinks]That's an extremely poor representation of the E46. That's not even a factory car. That's a poorly-modded pre-facelift w/ pep boys 18" wheels and an aftermarket MTECH (made in Taiwan) bumper w/ eBay angel eyes. Not one single panel on that car fits correctly either (likely in many accidents) very very poor comparison.
LCI factory ZHP would be most relevant. |

Not a good representation of the e46...
ZHP would have been better...

E46 is still one of my favourites. The E90 looked awful in comparison until they launched the LCI which sorted it out...
