Coding power supply

Hi

Just wondering what everyone is using for a power supply while doing coding?

I am just getting into coding and reading through tutorials they reccomend using a 70A power supply as you risk bricking your modules / ecu without a stable supply, only things i have found are around £500 or DIY options (would rather buy something) could i not just use a 70A battery charger or is they a cheaper off the self alternative?

thanks

Usually you don't need a charger for coding, because the coding itself only takes seconds.
Unless you search for the values for a extra long time or you need more than 30 minutes for everything.

You can also buy pulse chargers from AliEx, such as this one:https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001314947601.html

You don't need to use anything with more capability than the run of the mill battery charger. It's only used to keep the voltage from dipping low enough for the power management system to get cranky. I wouldn't rely on a 2 amp maintainer, but a 15 amp charger would be plenty. It's not like the HU or any of the modules draw the kind of current that the starter motor does.
