Looking to purchase a limited slip differential for my rwd 6mt 340i. If you've got one for sale or know where I can purchase one for a good deal please let me know. No scammers please, already had a few people try to get me, I won't fall for it!

Where are you located? I believe the only option is to have one built by quaife, wavetrac, diffsonline.com possibly. If you can source a stock "pumpkin" diff to be gutted and rebuilt by them, you can possibly save yourself a little bit of the cost. But it won't be particularly cheap in the end whichever route you go.

The 340 lsd should still be available through bmw/dealers/suppliers. They haven't had a fire sale on those that I am aware of. It will end up being around the same price as going aftermarket, unless you diy the pumpkin install or have friends to do it for cheap,

Ok, I happen to head out to orange county about once a month and I have the ability to bring whatever I want on the plane . I have the oem diff from my 335i auto sitting in my garage. I wonder if it could be used as a donor pumpkin to build a new lsd but I don't know enough about the different models to know if it would fit. If you could find out, I would be willing to get rid of it for next to nothing.
