*UPDATE* Plasti dipped diffuser

Just joined the forum so I figured I'd start my build thread. Traded out my 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara for a 2012 Alpine white 328i sport

Was originally deciding between the f30 328i or the e90 335d. I had my heart set on the 335d but most I looked at had major emission system/engine problems THEN I found a 2012 f30. Was a major upgrade from the e90s I looked at because of the updated interior and exterior, and still had 2 years of CPO warranty. Bought it and haven't looked back.

Performance:
BMS stage 1 (removed)
BMS clutch stop
VRSF HD intercooler
Random EBay downpipe with horrible fitment

Cosmetic:
IND color match reflectors
Black dual slat grills
20% 3M Color Stable
3M Dinoc CA-421 vinyl interior
3m 1080 gloss black whiskers
Sun visor sticker delete
Color matched rear spoiler
Debadged
ZHP shift knob

Wheels/Tires:
VMR v705 19x8.5 et35, 19x9.5 et33
Toyo Proxes t1 sports 235/40, 265/35

Suspension:
Eibach Pro-Kit
Koni adjustable rear shocks

Nice, still unsure of these dual slat grills on F30's. On some cars it looks decent, others not so much.

Looking good welcome to the team Luke! Can't go wrong with those wheels (I've got them too, they do sometimes look like 19s!)

Btw for the 2012 N20 make sure to check with the dealer it has had all the recalls available! (most notably timing chain part and plastic oil filter housing I think) don't want any surprises when you start adding miles to this baby (and we know you will)!

When I bought it from a private seller BMW required that I brought it in to be inspected and so forth. They didn't mention anything about recalls so I assume everything's up to date but I'll probably play it safe and ask about it when I get the oil changed

Love the car man! We basically have twins!

The black kidney grills in the front are a necessity. I really need to get my chrome ones replaced.

Have you thought about looking into the rear valance/defuser piece from the M-Sport models? One of the few drawbacks of living in Canada for me is that I'd have to pay for anything shipped in from the U.S. Basically, I'd be buying the piece twice once shipping costs are accounted for, unless of course I can source one locally. You on the other hand would be fortunate enough to get free shipping if you decided to swap yours.

Also - how do you like the BMS Stage 1?

Yeah the black grills were my very first mod! Got them from eBay for about $80 and they took me about 15 minutes to install on my car.

I was considering an m sport conversion for my car but will probably only end up doing the front bumper because its the most noticeable part of the m sport kit.

BMS stage 1 is awesome. Makes the car a lot more fun to drive but is definitely hurting my mpg because i step on it 24/7 now. If you're considering getting it, buy it ASAP. 45 hp and 60 torque for around $300 is an insane deal, and being able to quickly install and uninstall is a major plus.

Almost done with vinyl wrapping the interior trim! All I have left to do is the drivers side door handle and the big dash piece. It's coming together nicely

I like what you're doing with the car. Looks good! Your wrap looks OEM. What size roll did you buy?

I bought a 48 x 24 roll from Amazon. It's enough to do all the trim plus extra for when you mess up and have to scrap some.

Update! Plasti dipped my rear sport line diffuser and it turned out pretty good. It was definitely difficult to get the lines perfectly straight but still easier than vinyl wrap
