454.0bhp (stage 1) - DMS automotive

Just got back from a morning at DMS in Southampton where I got my 340 on the rollers and they said "wow, that's a strong number".

They have had a few B58s in recently their rollers have shown 360-365 for most mppsk cars and 430-435 for most post map.

The car pulls like crazy higher up the rev range which is great. Down low it seems to almost hesitate due to the traction control going crazy but mid range is awesome.

I need to try some launches but I fear the rears will just light up!

What’s all done to the car? Because those are really high baseline numbers.

If they are high baseline, lets say over read by 3% from 360 for mppsk the post map figure is more like 430something.

Its a big headline number but another car on the day had 340something "stock" (high flow exhaust and air filter) then below 420 post map.

They wasn't sure why my car got the results it did.

All it's had is the MPPSK setup and a pipercross panel filter.

60-70 hp over mppsk is great! Any idea what a standard m3/m4 puts down on their dyno?

What kind of fuel?

Do they offer a stage 2 tune?

At the weekend I went with a few others from the forum and got the car checked by Charlie at Surrey Rolling Road and was happy with the results.

It was nice to have an independent report of the numbers vs numbers from a place you get your car mapped.

DMS was a case of a pipercross oil coated filter with asda economy fuel.
SRR was the stock paper panel filter with Tesco 99 fuel.
