Is that right? Are you one of the two dudes testing it on your car? I hear they have part throttle issues to sort out first?

I've been in touch with the 2 guys doing the beta testing and their close but not there yet. Their actually looking for a ps2 car that's wedge tuned specifically

Yes it has better flow and can further upgraded through MissionPerformance requires modification and I think you'll be lucky if you can find one for under a grand.

Would you be kind enough that when you take off the “old†B58 pump, and prior to installing the newly modified B58 pump, to trace the shape of the modified flange on a piece of paper and share with the group?

You’ve been a pioneer for us and some additional help in providing a simplified drawing/template of the flange shape will help minimize the efforts in figuring out how much to trim and where to drill when the rest of us do the mod.

I read on one of the FB groups that the new B58 pump needs to be accounted for in the tune or it will supply to much fuel rail pressure. Just FYI. I'm not sure how valid this is so curious to know the truth of the matter.

you have the rail pressure setting in your tune ,
the hpfp is supposed to follow that , when demand is too high ,
the pressure drops . When demand is low or lower , the fuel control valve closes to a point where it meets its required value . so you have a closed loop of controlling the pressure . i hope to get it up and running in a week or so ,
its still in transit

That's how I understand it as well so the post I saw on FB about the rail pressure being too high for the injectors didn't make sense to me.
