Sure, you can do whatever you want with Individual. However, you have to pay to play. To do the full treatment, it could easily reach 5 figures.
Thats what I said looking at it. The Sport has by far the best exterior, but I can't stand the interior it looks cheap to me. I love the Modern interior, especially the wavy wood.[/]
My thoughts as well. The interior of the sport looks like it belongs in a Mazda 3, not a BMW 3 series. And putting the line badge on the side is the ultimate in cheesiness. Jeremy Clarkson is going to have a field day with that. Still don't get the quasi pop up navi either.

I guess I was being selfish, I meant I can get any interior color I would want but it doesn't make sense that they wouldn't offer brown, beige, etc. to people who don't want a specific line.
I think its so they don't have to build two dashboards for Nav and Non-nav cars. (remember the double-hump dash was for nav cars on the existing E90, and the single hump was for no nav)

I hope when they introduce it in the US they don't do this 3-tiered thing.

From what I read on here and other sites every car gets idrive just like the old E60 5 series, they all had idrive but you had to pay extra for the nav version.

There is 'configurator' info on BMW Canada's site for certain 2012 3er models (eg for the 335i x-drive Coupe, but not the Sedan) and the "lines" are not shown - at least not as of today.
Nor is the hybrid. |

From what I read we shouldn't really expect the 2012 until February or so (kind of a crappy time to buy a car in Canada....). |

The E90 is a 2011 and the F30 will be the 2012. At least in the US.

Actually, the F32 is more than likely a MY 2014. We already know MY2012 for the E90/E92 ends June 2012, and the F32 won't be ready until sometime in 2013. So, it seems almost assured at this point that there's going to be a run of MY2013 E92/E93 from July 2012 until sometime in 2013. |

@mkoesel: Got it.
Seems a bit strange, but I guess they have to manage the changeover somehow and simply picked this method. It will confuse consumers who don't understand the model series. Not, of course, that the 'modern', 'sport' and 'lux' won't confuse the crap out of people either, particularly when combined with their arcane package systems. |

From what I've read, it looks like the packages might be changing too... So it's unlikely that we'll see any packages that are not universally offered across all lines (i.e. something like a Tech Package that would have the same features regardless of what line you get). There probably won't be packages that have options that conflict with the lines.
