Looking for flush look
I just picked up a set of the style 400 18” rims and I’m looking for tires. I’m wanting something with a shorter sidewalk but not super low profile. The guy I bought them from suggested 225/45 r18 but reading through the forums I see some people suggesting 245 for a wider tire—would those fit? The offset is also 2mm (I think) more than my stock wheels. I want to get spacers put on when I get the wheels set and put onto the car but I’m not sure what size I’ll need for a flush look. Nothing super aggressive but mostly flush with the fenders. Any suggestions would be great!

Are you lowered?
Are the 400s 18x8 square or staggered? 245/40/18 could work. If you are square with those wheels (18x8 et34) you can run a 10mm spacer up front and 15mm spacer out back.

Agree with above poster- spacers for front you'll want 10-12 and for the rear 15

245/40/18 will fit fine. I was running 10mm spacers in front and 12mm in the rear and it was flush, but that's with stock offsets. If the new wheels have 2mm HIGHER offset, then you might need to go 12mm/15mm. There are some vids on YouTube on how to measure for spacers, might be helpful after you mount the new wheels.
