Spacers recommendation
My 435 XDrive has the stock wheel setup 225/R18/45 front and rear. I am looking at spacers in improve the look by pushing the wheels out a bit but unsure what to get or even if it’s a good idea on a stock setup.
I think I would be okay with the minimum of 10mm that I’ve seen. Would that work? Would I do the same size for both front and rear? Do I need extended bolts? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NCU629K..._cxM-CbERMVNPA

I measured 10mm gap for both front and rear but it looks like they recommend measuring the hub as well on all F30s which means I have to take it to a shop.

I have 10mm and 15mm spacers for cheap if you want em. Pulled off my 440xi gran coupe. Good condition. I have no use for them since I got new wheels.

ECS tuning shows 10mm front and 15mm rear which gets the stock wheels close to flush with the fender.
I got these spacers AND extended bolts for less than $90 (I got the 12mm and 15mm). These guys were super helpful and answered emails pretty quick if you have questions. I drive pretty aggressively and was anal about the torque setting for a solid week (check the torque everyday). These are decent units for the price. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AFNH5LY...d-bd618b452f0a 10MM 15MM |

Here is my 435i xdrive with 20mm spacers in the rear and 15mm in the front at stock ride height. Not the greatest pictures, I took it for a different reason.

I just installed 12mm all around on an msport with staggered tires and I think it looks perfect. Sits flush with the wheel well and absolutely no rubbing when going over bumps or turning hard. In my opinion 12 all around is perfect
Yes you need extended bolts. The stock bolt is 27/28mm so add the spacer width to that and that's what you'll need for a bolt. 28mm stock bolt + 12 mm spacer and you'll need a 40mm bolt. BTW the correct bolt size is 14x1.25 |
