Drivers side clunk F30
Hi there I have a 2013 F30 and sometimes when going over bumps or pot holes in the road I get a loud thud from the drivers side I can feel it in the pedals too it only does it this side can anyone tell me what is causing this noise ?

In some early F30's it was identified as a steering rack issue. E.g. https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...ht=front+clonk Had it on my 2012 F30 328i.

If your car has adaptive dampers you might also want to check whether the corrective software patch has been applied. Damper valve settings were revised - cured one of the clunking noises in my car.

First, call the dealer. They should be able to check your vehicle records and then book the car in for an update if required.
