Hi,

I have a 2016 340xi that id like to consider upgrading with MPPSK. The problem is that it’s a manual and I’m trying to confirm if the kit is downrated in HP/torque for manual cars. I’m striking out with local dealers.

Yes the Manual version doesnt give you as much HP and Torque as the automatic version but it still gives a slight improvement over stock
From the top of my head it a 35hp boost instead of 60hp

What is the best dealer around in terms of knowing all the details for this kit? I’m interesed to know “why” the manual version is downgraded in power. If it’s a weak transmission, I might skip the mod all together...

I believe they are afraid of the torque eating clutches left and right during maintaince warranty period resulting in BMW flipping the bill.

I did my MPPK/MPE install on my 335 at BMW of Ramsey. Great price and they did an amazing job. Ask for Cameron and tell him George the Greek guy from Westchester sent you . I've also done other things here as well and everything has turned out great.

I purchased the mppsk on eBay from a bmw dealer for 2100 which includes the tune. I’m waiting for my dealer to give me a quote so I can install it. I’m sure they gonna wanna charge me 500

How much you paid for the MPPK/MPE? I am looking at their web, https://www.shopbmwusa.com/PRODUCT/4...nterId=4657901 They are charging $1772 for its installed. Is that price negotiable? Thank you.
