Not getting the horn
Hi All, I had to use my horn as a warning for the first time yesterday and I have to admit I was a bit embarrassed by the sound of it, I was expecting a big beefy duel horn instead I got a noise that reminds me of Noddy’s car. Is this how it’s meant to sound or is one of the duel horns not working? The car is a 2014 F31 going and it’s going into BMW for its 3 year inspection next month.

Hadn't realised that this was still a problem on BMWs. Same happened on my F10 about 6 years ago.
You would have thought that they have had long enough to solve it, although their track record at dealing with problems isn't great - corroding running boards / failing panoramic roofs / corroding alloy wheels / fogging front and rear lights to name but a few... |
