2013 BMW 335ix  [0.00]
LPFP Actual Raw Psi (what is your number?)

my stock lpfp is always at 72. i have upgraded xdi 35 hpfp. i experiance a stutter in wot. i have been dealing with this stutter since the first time i tuned my car with bm3. i have done all that bm3 has suggested, spark plugs gapped correctly, new ignition coils, ER cp, wagner catless downpipe, intercooler, drop in air filter and resonator delete. bm3 said my stock hpfp was crashing so i upgraded to xdi 35, problem still persists so it leads me to beleive my stock lpfp cannot keep up this entire time.

looking for insight on your readings of lpfp actual raw psi, and what number that should be to handle the boost and tune on my car.

i have a 2013 f30 n55 335ix 6mt.

here are logs with xdi 35 installed

http://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5d3a575cc090c65e9f4f92b3

http://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5d3a572fc090c65e9f4f92b2

here are older logs before xdi with stock hpfp

http://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5d10a304ae729b165fa4f46f

http://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5d10a374ae729b165fa4f472

http://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5d10a360ae729b165fa4f471

this build will eventually have a ps2. please offer insight on this issue, at this point i wish i just upgraded lpfp first and went from there. i have followed bm3 guidance through this to no avail so far.

i have been looking at the stage 2 lpfp from fuel it but have heard of over heating issues with the ekp. wondering how common that is or if anyone has had that issue. i know there is a ekp upgrade. also there is a stage 3 option with new lpfp and a walboro lpfp on the other side so two in the tank pumping. this sounds like a good option but am curious as to how reliable it is. thanks.

I've had experience with upgrading to a stage 2 lpfp(not fuel-it). Overheating is a major issue, ekp and other electrical. I'm back to stock for now until I figure out something that'll work. Fuel-it claims the stage 3 does not put strain on the electrical system. I'd say that's your best bet

F-series does not have a LPFP sensor. What ever you read in your logs is phantom data.

Running 93 on PS2 the LPFP is plenty. Even E-mixes is ok so you must have another issue.

2-3 years ago "everyone" believed the LPFP to be the fueling bottle neck - it is not. Not even with upgraded HPFP (but good business for Fuel-It)
