F31 halogen to LED headlight retrofit in Sydney?

Hi All,

Wondering if anyone in Aus has tried this retrofit (F30 pre-LCI to LCI adaptive LED headlights) and/or knows a workshop in Sydney who has? https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1466330

Let me say up front - I am not normally into mods and having to change (and paint) the front bar for the xenon retrofit put me off the idea a few years ago. However the difference now is my understanding/assumption that the LED headlights do not need washers (so can use same front bar) to be legal? Anyone confirm?

I am under no illusions about how crazy the cost would be for OEM parts. I have seen the various aftermarket options and a few look not too bad, but for me its pretty much OEM or nothing :-) So first step is to work out if its been done locally...?

I'm sure there are now lots of aftermarket options available now like above.

However, if you want OEM, I believe Advan Performance in Auburn has done these sorts of retrofits if you give them a call. They can source OEM parts and do the required programming.

I think they a still a vendor on here.
