SWISSVAX + Steering Wheel?

thinking about buying the swissvax leather kit to start cleaning my steering wheel of my F32.

Is the leather of the steering wheel nappa leather?

Any opinions on this kit?

I use this and found it to work perfectly.

Nice protection, cleaning effect, and clean leather scent.

To my knowledge the steering wheel is napa leather if you have the m-sport steering wheel. Swissvax is a legit kit. So if your worried about quality I wouldn't be. Im a geyon leather cleaner guy myself but to each there own on products. If your worried about damaging your steering wheel you can always spot test a small area before cleaning the whole wheel.

Yes I do have the M sport steering wheel.

I know a guy who works at swissvax he claims that the products are very good, what else he would say .. he works there

I just need to protect my steering wheel and keep the matte look, i was thinking to buy a whole new wheel but it will cost me 700-800EUR to get it fitted

thats a bit steep for a new wheel i would give swissvax a shot sometimes all you need is a good cleaning.

I have that same leather kit. Mine also included a small balsam pack (by another manufacturer).

The thing about Swissvax is that you can never do wrong, however there is always something at least as good, for appreciably less. So whenever you want something but don't have time for the research or experimenting and are ready to pay for the name - you can safely go for Swissvax. I have only once been disappointed by the quality (a shampoo). The rest has always been from decent to excellent.

Now, I have not yet used the kit many times, but it does what it says. Depending on the condition of your wheel, you may want to clean it with some (leather-care) wipes first, before you use the kit. That's only if it is neglected.

Since using those sprays and brushes is not exactly a quick task, I'd recommend you get some leather-care wipes for a more "daily", routine cleaning (whenever you feel it is starting to get sticky and dirty). The leather kit is more of a once or twice a year thing, in my opinion. Unless you are a taxi driver or do similar mileage

I am using ArmorAll Leather Wipes. They are decent. Clean well and are claimed to also contain leather conditioner (wouldn't rely on that alone for conditioning).

https://www.armorall.com/products/wipes/leather-wipes

Do NOT use the Meguiars Leather Wipes - they are terrible! Leave thick, wet marks on the leather!

With the SONAX lederpflege kit, I was able to pull nail glitter off of my CPO 340i after I bought it - if that's any kind of endorsement.

Steering wheel basically shows zero wear now.

Swissvax leather cleaner has always been a great product just pricey as another member mentioned above. My vote is for Sonax leather foam.
