VRSF Catless Downpipe on N26

So the title somewhat sums it up, I recently installed my new Catless DP, and its been well over 2 weeks, (installed 08/22/2020) and my car has yet to throw any CEL lights, hasn't had any troubles idling, and I've given her the beans a handful of times (raced my buddies 2019 WRX). But yet still no CEL. I work at a dealership and we did the install on a hoist, and have what I believe is no exhaust leaks.
After talking to my buddy who's a Journeymen Mechanic, he said there isn't really any sort of specific time line that it should come on, im just wondering if this is common? I do live in a more northern community than most, so maybe the change in the colder air is having an effect? Not entirely sure, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, or has an answer?

are you tuned as well?

im waiting on my ER catless downpipe, i also have an n26.
im guessing the tune took care of any cel that would have come on assuming you flashed/re-flashed it right after install.

Completely bonestock except for the downpipe, and a K&N High Flow Filter. Everything else I've done is purely cosmetic.

ah ok. only other thing that could be holding back a cel from popping up is the fact that theres a secondary cat on the n26.
its after the downpipe and before the resonator.

But that would make sense, if the secondary cat was before the h2os, not after and not being so far away in relation to the location on the midpipe. I'm not complaining that I don't have a CEL! Just dumbfounded on why it hasn't shown yet.

Garage List
really weird, i went catless too recently and after about 50 miles (about 5-6 days of small trips) it finally came on. Tried putting an o2 spacer on the DP but the tip of the sensor was too long and it hit the spacer, so had to run without it :\.

Yeah I've easily but 300km on my car in that time, and plan to go out of town next week which is a 800km one way trip, so i guess we'll see if she comes on after that

I think its normal. No real explanation as to why it does that. Im FBO with the same DP and I didnt get a CEL for the first few hundred miles. If the code gets cleared it will stay off for another while and come back once i get on it hard.

In most cases, the CEL is triggered within 100 miles

Finally kicked in after my 800km road trip, hit the dealer for my service, they cleared the codes and gave me this lil guy for a loaner.

Would it be worth it to put the Downpipe on the N20.
Do you feel the difference?

Definitely feel a difference in how quick the turbo spools, and speed. 10/10 would agree its a worthwhile mod to do if you're planning on building up your car. But in order to take full effect and gains out of the DP, you'll definitely need a tune. Which is what i'm waiting for with my warranty to run out.

Plus the sounds the car makes now is lovely, and with it starting to be winter time and -40 approaching, it has me excited for some cold starts

Only way to find out is a. Either commit to it and do it yourself, or b. Watch some YouTube vids with people who've done catless and even hi-flow cats
