Got my exhaust installed today and it sounds great. I did however run into an issue on the right side of the exhaust. The right side bracket was about an inch off from the hanger. I got my exhaust installed at Daytona converter who specialize in mufflers and we followed instructions to the T. We tried several ways to incorporate the bracket but had no luck and we decided to use a longer bolt to go directly into the hanger. Please let me know if I’m doing something wrong because the left side sits perfectly but I’m just unable to get the right side mounted using the bracket. Regardless I’ve been assured that I will not encounter any issues with the exhaust and it sounds great and it simply fantastic driving the car. They did offer me the option of making a custom bracket but I’ll probably do that down the road. Here is a picture of what I’m talking about .

I also had issues installing the brackets, really they need to clear that up for future customers, took me two hours to install the darn thing and 70% of that was taking the brackets out, flipping them, reinstalling, trying them on different sides etc until I was happy with the fitment, absolute pain in the butt, hardware itself is great, no complaints, pops and burbles are about the same as the mpe or maybe quieter , hoping that it'll open up with some use, sounds good overall.

Installed a few weeks ago and I notice that around 2500 rpm I get a rattle sound. Like metal vibrating on metal. The rattle is very prominent and coming from the back of the car. It doesn't occur at other rpms.

I don't thinks it's just drone.

I figured I would see if it resolves after I break it in some more but the rattling still occurs.

It consistently only occurs around that rpm.

And advice on how to fix the issue?

Jack it up and bang it with your hand and see if you can trace the rattle down.

Will try that.
I feel like it sounds like the exhaust is touching something under the car
But I didn't see anything on visual inspection

That look's good! I have the M-Performance Exhaust on my 428xi and don't regret it one bit
