Hi Guys

I am new to bimmerpost and pretty new to coding for which i have only coded my f31 for bluetooth audio which I was so please with as I know if I would have taken this to BMW they would have probably charged me about £300!

At the moment i can only open my boot with my key fob and the button inside the drivers side. But I have read the F31 can be programmed to also close the boot/tailgate with these same buttons.

I think I have found what i need from a cheat sheet on here to enable this within E-SYS:
HKFM 3010 SCH_FBD aktiv nicht_aktiv Button on key fob will be enabled to CLOSE the trunk
HKFM 3010 SCH_TOEHKI aktiv nicht_aktiv Button on driver-side will be enabled to CLOSE the trunk

But I'm not really too familiar with this path within E-SYS as I have only done the Bluetooth and pretty much found step by step instructions

Would anyone be able to advise on just where to click etc once I have made my connections with E-SYS??

You need to code also TASTER_FDB.
I did it on my F31. Works like a charm!

Unfortunatelly I can't advice you with the E-SYS. Just too long ago when I did it.
However I followed the enclosed PDF instructions (especially with the Backup of the original files. And Backup again befor every coding. And putting this in a safe place)
No big deal then if you follow these instructions.

Otherwise just search for local coder, or ask your BMW Partner if they would do it.

Here is what I coded:

HKFM 3010 SCH_FBD aktiv Button on key fob will be enabled to CLOSE the trunk
HKFM 3010 SCH_TOEHKI aktiv Button on driver-side will be enabled to CLOSE the trunk
HKFM 3010 TASTER_FBD aktiv Required for SCH_FBD and SCH_TOEHKI to work.

Ah thanks for that the other thread i found with the cheat sheet didnt mention HKFM 3010 TASTER_FBD aktiv Required for SCH_FBD and SCH_TOEHKI

I will probably give it a try maybe this weekend and just poke around see if I can see anything

Will have to do my research as I am still getting used to E-Sys!

I confirm it work on F25 2017 too.

If you have ESys everything you need to know has been posted. If not I recommend you get Bimmercode. This is probably a one click job with it, but if not the coding posted can be done in expert mode.
