Question coding a BMW bike. But this could be same for a CAR.

I want to change the look and feel of the dashboard TFT, how it shows the speed etc.
Seems that I need to have a CAFD (KOMBI) for a bike model A (which I dont have) and use it into bike B that I have.

Does this mean I need to find out which CAFD is for the bike A, from the PSDZDATA full,
and rename to the CAFD of my bike B, and code it?

You code existing bikes CAFD. You do not replaced it with CAFD from other bike.

A hint I got is as below but then what does this mean?

"You need a launcher that has mapped cafd files to enable this option, standard esys cant do it"

No, but you need to update your E-Sys to 3.27.1 and use Launcher PRO 2.8.2 to fix missing CAFD Data.

Hi shawn, are you ok?
I need some help, I re-installed e-sys on my notebook after formatting it, and now when I try to fdl code, some moduls only appear dots. I've noticed that if I change the Memory Settings on Launcher Pro, sometimes de dots are gone in one modul but happens on another one that before is working, now it's only dots... How can I solve this?

I'm using Launcher Pro 3.7.0.315, 2 years ago i've done a donation to Eli and got it. Anyway, i have downloaded Launcher Pro 2.8.2 to try to use the free version, but now the error is that it doesn`t work with e-sys 3.33.4... Should I downgrade? I'm asking because a week ago nothing that happens, was using the same versions of e-sys and Launcher Pro and everything works perfectly! But now, seems like need some adjustments...

If you have working Launcher Pro 3.7.0, then do not bother with older 2.8.2.

Are you sure you were using Launcher PRO 3.7.0 and not E-Sys direct when you had trimmed CAFD (dots)?

I don't understand what you ask. Install E-Sys 3.27.1 and Launcher PRO 2.8.2. That's it.

I'm using Dynamic Activation on Launcher Pro (my activaction code was used on my last computer, and I don't know how to cancel them and request new ones), maybe that's the problem?

You can't now. Developer is missing long time now, almost 2 years.

Try using Launcher PRO 2.8.2 if you can't get get your version activated:

I've installed e-sys 3.27.1 and using Launcher Pro 2.8.2 and the dots are gone... Ok, but now on the KIS/SVT sector, the I-Step are "not available", even when I open e-sys direct with no Launcher. Can I flash iDrive
(iStep update) using this version? How should I proceed, since I can't perform KIS/SVT Calculation?

Injecting CAFD (Detect CAF for SWE) and Flashing ECU's with >= v.4.17.20 PSdZData requires using newer E-Sys 3.30.0 or higher.

And flashing is done with E-Sys Direct, no Launcher.

can someone help me..

replaced bij clockspring, now i have problems with my paddles and many issues fromt steeringwheel.

checked ista and dont have current coding for SZl

checked esys and dont have CAF data on SZL.. “Detected CaF for SWE” greyed out..

use esys 3.27.1 what to do?
