Rob and his guys are fantastic.

Took them about 5 hours from start to finish.

My Diffuser was already designed for quads but I'm sure you can have a chat with him about the possibilities of modifying yours..

That's why he went for graphite and not gold

Starting with clean wheels, I use Autoglym wheel protector about once every 3 months:

Its a spray-on-and-then-polish-when-dry sealant that creates a hydrophobic barrier that prevents the dust from sticking or being absorbed into the "pores" of the wheels.

To clean I use Bowdens Wheely Clean everytime I was my car.

Spray it on liberally and let it sit for 5 minutes. It's non-acidic so completely safe but it actually lifts the iron particles off the wheel and all the dust just starts to slide off. I very rarely have to do more than spray with a pressure washer at that point. Every now and then I give them a wipe down before spraying it off.

This is what it looks like after 5 minutes of sitting there. It looks like your wheels are bleeding...

Once wheels are completely dry I use Armorall Wheel Protectant.

Generally speaking I think Armorall products are shit. This is the only one I use and it's absolutely fantastic. Its a silicon spray that adds a layer of protection that means the dust DOES NOT STICK to the wheels. when you stop and get out of the car you can actually see little piles of dust resting in the barrel of the wheel and you can just blow them out. This will last about 3 weeks - less if the wheels get wet but still very good even then.

Yeah. I had HK in the 1M and the Alpine Kit in the 135i.

The Hi-Fi just doesn't hold up.

It will be even better with the Amp putting out around 4X the power as well.

Thanks Angus, couldn't find the Autoglym stuff anywhere, but picked up the Bowdens and Armorall from Supercheap ($20 / $13 respectively if anyone is interested). Will test it out on the weekend, ran out of time tonight!!

I agree, the Hi-Fi just doesn't hold up. I'll probably order the Amp later on to see if it's makes an even greater difference.

Thanks for the recommendation on the wheel products The new brakes produces so much brake dust, makes cleaning them a pain Even chose black wheels to hide it but still quite visible.

Great stuff bought some Bowden Wheely Clean. It turned purple the moment I sprayed it on. Overall seems to better than the Meguiars I used before.

Thanks for the recommendation once again. Might get the Autoglym next time saw it for $21 @ Supercheap

You're very welcome mate. The Autoglym is not strictly necessary and you definitely don't need to use it every time you wash the car.

Wow, I love what you have done with your car! Pretty neat.
I am planning to pick up a front diffuser and black grill as well. May I ask where your sourced yours from? Were they genuine parts? and how much the installation was?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks mate.

Both parts came from Mars Performance. So did the rear spoiler and rear diffuser.

The spoiler, diffuser, and splitter came unpainted. I had it all fitted at Rencal Motors and they had the rear spoiler and the two upper parts of the front splitter painted for me.

Total cost for paint and installation was $500.

The grilles came pre-finished and I installed them myself in about 10 minutes.
