HK L7 amp died. Options?
So unfortunately my HK L7 amp died and not being able to listen to music is really lame. Most of my research ends in take it to the dealer, pay 1000+ bucks, and get a new one.
Did I miss any options? Is there somewhere where I can get it fixed? Doesn't look like there are any upgrade/aftermarket options. |

You can always get a MOST converter or coding to analog (676) and aftermarket amps instead of an OEM amp. |

How do you know it’s just the amp that’s gone? If it was me I’d have swapped it out to see what happens, worst case it won’t work and you can then ask here 😀

I used a fiber optic system bypass. When I bypassed the amp the rest of my systems came online. So I'm assuming its just the amp

I swapped in a L7 HK amp from my friends 2012 f30 this morning. I still get the no warnings tones alert and no sound. Thoughts? Possibly look into coding? I don't think its something else in the MOST loop.
