You just need to code CARPLAY_FULLSCREEN = aktiv

this can be done in esys or one of the phone apps like Carly or BimmerCode

No, I brought it back to a dealership as I had issue with the car play it’s playing my amazon music while on a call, since it’s still under warranty they updated the software with no charges.

I don't use either of those apps but a believe you can use them on an Android or iPhone - both will need an OBD dongle.

Or you can buy an enet cable and use a windows PC to code it - piece of cake.

Ive dropped you a Pm about it. l'll need to send another with the VIN, canny do the work for at least a week as BMW broke a stud (s&*t happens) doing my cooler and are now waiting on an inlet manifold, no matter.

You have Evo ID4 - that headunit can be flashed to ID5 and carplay activated, but that can cause random rebooting.

You can get a used ID5 headunit and that is a better option.
