No. You can try any other FDL for test purposes. As I wrote, I suspect it is a coding issue and not an FDL setting issue, so I think for whatever reason, you can't code anything in REM.

They should, and they are in REM module not FEM_BODY.

Easy, takes about 10min...just make sure the tabs are smooth after, before you start putting back together.

That is weird that coding needs to take place in order for this mod to work. on my X3 LCI 2015 i just added the switch and it worked. no coding was required.

Great write-up! I missed not having rear fog lights.

I just installed the Euro light switch and discovered, to my surprise, when I pushed the front fog light button, the Adaptive LED headlights changed behaviour. The main beams shifted the aim to the right.

It was hard to see whether the light distribution changed since I discovered this "feature" during the day. Will test more tonight.

Note I have enabled the VLD and NGHB headlight functions and I do not have any fog lights in the lower grill.

For those that have retrofitted the Euro light switch operating unit (ECS Tuning) you will have to add "NSL" to LCE_BEL_LIN_VAR as well as the coding mentioned earlier in this thread. For instance, I have an F32 without front fog lights with adaptive LED's. I had to code FEM_BODY to clear the fault memory in Rheingold:

FEM BODY 3064 => LCE_BEL_LIN_VAR => BEL_FLC_NSL (default was BEL_FLC)

The fault never created a CEL, but it was present (wrong light operating unit wrong variant installed fault code D90D16) when I ran Rheingold.

That is strange as I got my switch from eBay as it was a used F32 switch and installed it on my F31 and I had no codes or issues whatsoever. I have HIDs and halogen fogs standard and I followed this useful tutorial to enable rear fogs. I am not sure I know what Rheingold is though.

If you have Adaptive Xenon Headlights and fog light front and rear you would select variable BEL_FLC_NSW_NSL from the options. I believe there are eight different options in there to select from.

I downloaded Rheingold and saw that I had that error message and I coded what you mentioned but the error did not go away. Wonder what else could be going on.
