F30 Hu_entry Nav? Video?

I have a 04/2014 build 320i base model.
My head unit is HU_ENTRY.
I have coded Enhanced Bluetooth and USB album art, both are working. Basic Voice Control was coded but does not work; according to posts by Shawn Sheridan this may now require an FSC code.

I have tried to play a DVD directly but I get an error about unable to read disk. Has anyone been able to play DVDs or video on the HU_ENTRY head unit?

Also, I thought Navigation may be possible with an FSC code. Has anyone enabled Nav on the HU_ENTRY?
I have BMW Assist which is included on 2014/2015. They can pinpoint my car location so there is obviously a GPS unit and a SIM in the combox (in the trunk).

As far as I know, HU_ENTRY is not a DVD Player, rather it is CD Player only.

Yes, you have GPS, but you cannot code Navigation. For Navigation you must have CIC or NBT Head Units, as the navigation is Hard Drive based.

VO Code HU_ENTRY with 6NS instead of 6NH, and use 0414 build date.

can you please post a pic of your idrive screen showing the album art? I want to code this but i'm curious how it looks... also even tho the cd player is not a DVD player I wonder if theres a way to play videos through iPHONE or IPOD..

Do you have a combox in trunk or a CMB_MEDIA in unit when reading from E-sys ?

Hi, what did you code for "Enhanced Bluetooth and USB album art"? I have been wondering about the same for a while now. I'd also like to play DVD from my HU_ENTRY.

Does that mean although I have entry_nav album art cant be coded from usb

Car is 2015 build
No combox in boot but I believe it is in the HU it has business nav but I don't now the HU number

ENTRYNAV has builtin Combox functions, although I have no idea if it supports Album Art and if so, from which sources (USB, Bluetooth, etc.).

Thanks I have album art on usb and radio but it doesn't show up on screen.

I'm not surprised. Many iDrive functions are not present or possible with 606 Business Nav that are with 609 Pro Nav. The hardware / firmware is scaled down considerably.

I have seen the posts regarding changing the HU is it really bad as I could go the android Ugode/Avin route to get the video

I personally have no experience retrofitting Head Unit, although I see it being done successfully all the time.

Thanks again I thought that the chips had to erased and coded and was nigh on impossible to complete is their any posts on this as I may go in that direction
