Cameras Back Ordered?
I could not find a thread on this. Is anyone else experiencing a production delay due to back ordered cameras?
My dealer cannot even find out when they are supposed to fill the backlog. Has anyone else come across this at all? |

Occasional component availability is not uncommon. Patience is all one needs. BMW is just as interested in solving this problem as customers waiting for the vehicle.

When I ordered my car, there was supposedly a shortage of M Sport brakes from Brembo which caused delays on vehicles equipped with the option.
This sort of stuff happens more often than you think - just the nature of logistics when sourcing 3rd party components for your product. You have to rely on the 3rd party to deliver on time. All you can really do is wait or remove the option from your order.
