Smile Rear deck removal

Hello,

My rear deck has an annoying rattle that I would like to fix. Does anyone have a tutorial on how to remove the rear deck on 2015 335? Thanks in advance.

BavSound speaker installation instructions usually tell you how to remove door panels & rear deck - check this link:

Man....having the SAME issue. This video didn't cover it. Anyone have a step by step of taking the rear off to isolate and secure?

Yup, I've done it before.

1. You have to remove the C pillars. There's a metal clip on it near the headliner side that you have to yank real hard to get out, then two plastic clips that are much easier to pop out.
2. You have to drop the rear seats and remove all the expanding rivets that hold the rear parcel shelf to the car. This includes popping out the outermost sections of the rear seats where there is a rivet on either end.

Just pulls out at that point.

i thought i it was the rear deck... was actually coming from the boot, on the left hand side under the plastic there's some sort of module? no idea what it is but it rattles, a lot. bit of foam under it - sorted.

And, what did you do to eliminate the clicking sound?

How did you get to this? Was this a subscription to get access to the BMW's chop manual?
