Cons of setting KW SC Coilovers past max height?

I already have my front set to "Maximum A" distance and don't like how low it is.

There's about 1" of threading left.

What would be some draw backs or raising the front another 3/4", not to exceed the threads (like i did last time and destroyed the perches)?

It will be prudent to call KW and get the answer from the experts. I called KW in the past and the person answering the phone was very helpful. I wanted to maintain close to OEM suspension height with KW Street Comfort coilovers.

Aren't where the threads end max height? How are you getting the collars past that?

I still have more threads. I'm asking, what are the cons of raising past the recommended manufacturer max height?

Does increasing the ride height make the ride more comfortable?

The kw max height for those is where the threads end to my understanding. So you can't go past thay. It's not a recommendstion really, it's just a spec. The SC can go, at their highest, 10mm lower than base suspension which is the same as xdrive. All the other KWs start 30mm lower, at their highest.

Per KW:

When it comes to suspension height, go by "measurement B" (wheel center to stock fender). In my case (KW SC 1802000R) the minimum distance is 13.4" with an unlisted max of 14.6".

Height adjustment is physical limited by the threads on the strut. Any additional height can be obtained with spring spacers, with no cons:

- 15 mm
- 30 mm
- 50 mm

In my case, I have a measurement B at rear of 13". I want about 14" at the front (at 13.75 at highest setting)....dont like the leaning foward look you get if you try to make front and rear wheel gaps the same (believe its called raking). In my case, I would get a 15 mm spacer.
