Is it possible ? F30 Performance Kit on F25 2.0d

Sorry for opening this thread here, but here there are more experienced users and more answers than i could find on x3 forum

For BMW 3-series there is a performance upgrade kit for 2l diesel engine. I asked my bmw dealer about something similar for F25 2.0d and he said it's not available..

But, being the same engine - is it possible to use the parts from f30 kit on f25 ? is it possible to code this ?

You can see f30 kit here : http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...37&hg=11&fg=95

In this kit is included a new, bigger intercooler and a new ecu ..and some other badges ...

Hi,

As far as I know your dealer has to order the power kit and it will already coded at BMW only fitting to your VIN. So I don't think that BMW will code it to a F25 VIN.

Regarding the infos out of the german forum till now nobody was able to crack the coding. There is currently no chance as example to recode a used kit to fit to an other car.

I got this info confirmed from my dealer where I bought the PPK for our 330d.

so the ecu comes from bmw pre-coded with the VIN provided by the dealer ? right ?

or the dealer orders the ecu and then it is programmed at the dealer, by his "will" ?

...yes, that's what I understood. My dealer has a lot of experience with the ppk, cause he is one of the german forum dealer offering a lot of hot deals and doing approx five ppk instalations per week.

so it's terrible bad ... my car is only 2 months old, but it feels way underpowered especially above 120-130km/h - on the highway of course, the dealer offers no performance upgrade, i don't know about powerboxes ... I was thinking of buying hartge box, but the dealer said bmw will void warranty for this and they will see that a box was installed first time I go to the dealer and they connect to bmw servers - is it true ??

I have already paid for 6 years extra warranty

Hi Fazerfahrer,

I'm looking for a Performance Kit for my F31 - 330d but in Belgium the dealer will not fit it on the car. Did you do the install by yourself ?

Best regards
