Unhappy

Looks good I guess but I'm not overwhelmed.

I prefer the sedan better.

Yes sure it is, but there is no where THAT specific distinction compared to the F30, it a to close call for me, wider stance and different panels can`t make up for that.

Once the car is out in the street, and you have seen it several times, you will start regretting your above words...

It definitely looks sharp, though it's getting really long!

Can't wait to see the M4 and M4GC variants.

The same was said of the E92, Scott... nothing new here.

The F32 interior shots show the same dash and overall interior styling of the F30. Nothing like the 5-Series to 6-Series differentiation. So the "unique" thing is nothing new as well.

My point is, BMW should have kept their plan for the 4-Series to be the E92. Now, after the E92, the whole idea is silly. And late.

Most probably I will get an M4, but please tell your people to keep the damn Lines and restrictions away from it. That's another idea that must have a quick and painful death.

Could it be that the real front is nearly 100% 4er Coupe Concept and only because this car shown was an Sport line with black trim on an dark grey car, we could see it!?
That meen an luxury line or modern line dark grey car would show more of his 4er Coupe Concept bumper dcetails !?

I thought the exact same thing. The proportions reminded me of the old 1960s split window vettes.

  1. what are those beautiful lines on the front bumper do?
  2. why rear looks like 3 series?
  3. why front looks like 3 series

This 4 series looks more 3 series than e92 vs. e90 which were both 3 series cars...

Anyway, I get that BMW wants it to look like that, it wants to charge some $$$ for the car, it needs to make profit, it doesn't care about what I like but cares more for some research that shows this type of design will sell. I am OK with that, it is just that I wont buy it. I am sure there are lots of guys looking for the sportier and meaner looks in a BMW and will potentially go to C or A or Cadi cars to get that...

that's all.
Yup. Looks like virtually the same car as 335i although 2 less doors. No thanks. I'd take an S5 over this 435i if I wanted a coupe. Hopefully it looks more special in person.

very boring just like the previous model, it's basically a two door version of my car with no extras besides the side scoop, my favourite coupe is still the E46

F30 is nicer.

I was hoping they would lose those stupid vents on front fenders.

so are they sticking with the N55 engine for a while? or is it going to get changed in the 2nd year? I always feel bad for those guys that buy the new car and then the next year it gets a better engine.

besides that it looks good

That`s bothering IMHO, now the E92 was a big car, the F32 is even bigger....

Bigger is less nimble, is less driving fun, I can tell after a E46 M3, E92 M3 and now a E82 1M, which is the smallest of all but the biggest smile when driving.

So almost every car-manufacturer is downsizing, smaller cars compared to the same old models, lighter cars compared to the older models, I really feel BMW missed the point in that direction.

So they came up with the 1er and 2er series, but these will also grow in size.

That is not the way for me, beautiful looking or not, size and weight will determine driving fun all the way IMO.
Completely agree. I can't get over the length of the car from the side profile. looks like a whale.
