Stoplock Pro Elite @ Aldi

Thought I'd post this as it might be useful for some.

Popped into Aldi this morning and they had these on sale at £39.99 each. Does make me laugh but they don't half sell some really odd items in their stores.

These are too big for the f30 Steering wheels - you need the regular non elite version: stop lock pro

Stoplock pro standard version didn't fit on my F30 steering wheel as the airbag got in the way on the Sport steering wheel (not M sport)...returned and had to order the elite version...

I have the standard Stop Lock Pro and it is a perfect fit for the M-Sport steering wheel.

The Pro Elite fits perfect on the F31....
Turn the wheel 1/8 to the right and put the right hand spoke between the lock loops and the yellow stick aiming at the nav screen..
It's worked this way, without fail for years and years.

+1 for me, fits perfectly on my F36. Good price, i paid at least a tenner more eighteen months ago at Halfords.

Standard doesn't fit the G3X MSport steering wheel. The centre sticks out to much and rubs against the bar.

Elite

Pro

Elite felt too loose, pro felt just right.

In the end I got rid of them as they were more hassle than they were worth.

Takes under 7 seconds to bypass them, and not much of a deterrent sadly. A whole steering wheel cover would be a much better security measure.

^^ BarsJ, if you turn the wheel a touch to the right and then put the 2 lock hooks either side of the righthand steering wheel spoke, it's perfect..

I agree that the way you had it does feel loose and I also found that it catches the indicator. But using the method above, it's pukka.
