Depending on the setup and tune, I've seen 430-450 whp on stock fueling system and 93 octane (with maybe a touch of e85 for octane boost) at about 18 psi. It's a nice route to go if you don't want to mess with PI and just want some more power up top... with room to upgrade the power later on. Last edited by F30_SixSpeed; 08-17-2017 at 07:09 AM.. |

So there's definitely potential for the pwg manual transmission... if I was to go with a tuning platform It would be bootmod3 and probably mix in the jb4 tune and fuel it stage 2

Manual trany will actually show more whp#s on dyno than auto, but will translate the opposite on the track, even worse for those who can't shift fast enough as F30_SixSpeed getting by Rob's SUV. jk

What clutch are people using with PS2? Hoping the 550i clutch would hold up.
Does the M2/M4 clutch fit the N55? I know M2 and M4 both share the same twin disk clutch P/N and the M2 is a N55 engine. |

Saw you mention this in another thread; which SMFW did you go with?

It's got great potential being lighter than 3/4 series... Really curious what it takes to go under 10s... |

I would imagine there would be some better 1/4 mile times since the release of xhp flashtool tunes for the n55 autos. Anyone with the ps2 and xhp tunes can confirm how the trans tunes do with the added power?

Are you PWG with stock turbo, XDI 35 and breaking up? Something wrong then! I could run 17-18psi with PS2 on stock fuel system. HPFP would dip to ~1200psi but car ran fine.

i havent taken any logs since my xdi 35 has bee. installed. car used to break up bad with tune on stock turbo pwg and stock fueling. its better with xdi 35 but my lpfp is not keeping up in wot.
car never broke up when stock tuned. im asking how safe is it to get the fuel it stage 2 lpfp? people have reported problems but do the majority run fine? i left my obd2 to ethernet cable at my tuners so i cant log right now old logs showed hpfp couldnt keep up. but now after getting xdi 35 and it still occurs i think its been my stock lpfp all along.... i have seen my valves and they have a good amount of carbon on them. im at 78k miles n55 pwg 6mt. i doubt walnut blasting will make any differance but ive considered it. |

Do some logs and post them here for us to discuss would be the best suggestion before you start throwing money around!
