Whats the general consensus. I think there was a preference for a Sunday for some, works for me.

However, not sure if the guys at ACS would be keen to open up on Sunday though. But can always ask lorcan.

Slightly off topic gents, but anyone just got a message from BMW about EGR cooler recall?

Called.... listers apparently its safety recall. If they have to replace they say its a software update as well.

This is not good, as will wipe my lovely remap 👎

I was just about to ask the same haha. I'm good for 4th. I've asked a mate with another 440i if he wants to come too
So we just need to decide what the itinerary is

Afternoon all,

Right, I spoke with Chris this morning about a potential visit, the 4th of July doesn't suit them unfortunately.

Nevertheless, Chris is very keen to host us though, but wants to do it properly and has suggested a weekend in September perhaps.

He did also comment that they are currently a little low on ACS stock; but also said they are in between demo cars at the moment. So September would mean they would have much more to show off, and a demo car available to test drive.

Sorry to disappoint, but I think it would be worth the wait.

Cheers

We can do both?
We just need a place to meet on 4th, then we have a few months to plan for September

Agreed, let's just do another one in September now that several of us seem to be ready for 4th.
I'm not too familiar with Norfolk area - any suggestions for meet-up place/itinerary?

Definitely, sorry meant to say that. It was just the visit to ACS part that was not going to be possible.

There was some talks about meeting at the Route 11 diner, for those coming further afield.

It's on the northbound A11…

But I'm easy.

I think it was route 11 that was suggested.

My suggestion of Sandringham was to coinside with a trip to ACS and that being the case ask Lorcan if he could get us access to the guys place at Wolferton just a few minutes away.

Given the short notice for anyone to organise that, I suggest we keep that to September also as it is a Sunday traffic in the area will be manic.

A11 will be easier for those further afar to get to.... and space to park
