My next project is to get a 6WA Kombi but the dealer told me that in my car there is no Combox (VIN K853117)
My question is: How is possible that C7 and C9 FSC work, ETP and A2Dp work without Combox?

ENTRYNAV has Combox functions built-in to Head Unit.

(C7) Voice Control FSC has been succesfully installed on my F30 (with no combox) from our "mutual friend"
This is my actual salapa VO list:

Hi, I still have a question, the last I hope.
I was reading a lot about the risks you take during bmw serice.
My FA has been modified from the guy adding 6NR and substituting 6NH with 6NS and 851 wth 855.
What I understood ist that BMW is not happy during warranty to do not find the FA factory salapa and they could void the warranty.
My idea is to replace before the BMW-service the oringinal FA but I read that in this case is possible (if bmw makes an update) that they delete the FSC codes that the guy installed for me.

The guy told me that FSC are permanent and they won't be deleted form BMW but I suppose this only in the case that I do not modify anymore the FA

In other's post I read that BMW does not take care to check if the FA is from factory or not and they will update the ECU's based on the FA you have in that moment.

Sorry but, too many conflicting opinions for me,

Can somebody please tell me which is the best solution in my case to:
A) Do not loose the warranty
B) Do not loose my expensive FSC (C7 and C9)

Dealer ISTA reads current FA from car VCM, not original FA from BMW Server.

Regardless of FA, Dealer Programming does nothing with FSC Codes. They are left in tact.

It wont Cancel FSC Code. FA does have to be valid for the vehicle hardware / build though.

I apologize if my question was already answered somewhat, I did try and carefully read through most of the pages.

I am looking to code EBT on a 2018 F30 LCI (last 7 in VIN: A904098). The vehicle has HU_ENTRYNAV2 and no combox (found out here that it is now integrated with the HU). I read the guides and initially tried to add 6NS with no success (HU_ENTRYNAV coding landed a CAFD error) and discovered here that I should have added 6NL because of the basic navigation.

Did not yet try VO coding 6NL but my question is why don't I have 6NH? Or any 6Nx in the vehicle FA? I understand it is really weird? Initially when I added the 6NS, I am 100% positive I did not remove anything.

For some extra context, my struggle is actually with adding the mirror screen feature. On my F20 with HU_NBT, this was not a problem. I added the respective coding (using the bimmercode app) with WLAN and MIRACAST and it works a charm. With this F30 though, when doing the exact same coding, I get the mirror screen option and then go to add device and the unit is stuck with the message "activating vehicle WIFI..."

I also have a checkbox under "manage devices" with "Vehicle WIFI" that I can not tick. However, I can turn the car into a wireless hotspot, which in my mind, uses the same hardware... no?

So currently truing to code the EBT, maybe this will work with the screen mirror. And here is where I am.

Car has ENTRYNAV2 with 06NW Telephony with wireless charging, which includes Enhanced Bluetooth and USB.

ENTRYNAV2 is not capable of Screen Mirroring.

Screen Mirroring in your F30 would have had to been NBT2 EVO, not NBT as you wrote.

Yes, NBT2 EVO Retrofit.

Hi! This is my first post here. I tried today to code EBT on a F31 2013 model without navigation. It has CIC. Tried 6NS, 6NK, 6NL, but always fails when I try to code HU_ENTRY. If I go back to 6NH It does not fail. Is it not possible With this one? Last 7 digits of VIN: F929796

EBT not possible with ENTRY Head Unit, unless car has Standalone Combox (CMB_MEDIA).
